devolving into madness, as the glass pipe’
s lit; plumes of blue smoke are exhaled and into
the brain go the sweet homemade ice made too
strong and homicidal. puffing on
the pipe, the body goes numb, the brain begins to
race, going faster than the speed of light as past and
present interconnect and the juxtaposition spins me
around like a cat toy. nothing to do but
puff on the glass pipe, subdue the madness with
Four Roses and embrace the lunacy as I pour
it all out on a page demanding blood.
