Most people walk through the streets without noticing the emotions around them. But for me, those fleeting moments of feeling are everything. My photography transforms everyday people into ghostly figures, capturing mostly melancholic emotions that would otherwise fade away. Instead of chasing sharp details, I embrace motion blur and abstraction to reveal what often goes unnoticed. I focus on contrasts, light, and movement to create images that feel both mysterious and emotional. My series Street Melancholy explores emotional loneliness in today’s fast-paced world. At the heart of my work is one simple idea: emotions matter—but we often overlook them, too caught up in ourselves to notice. Whether I’m photographing strangers or working on long-term projects, my goal is always the same: to preserve feelings that might otherwise disappear.
