Maja Stošić (maiden Aranđelović) was born on July 14th, 1975. From 2000 to 2008, she worked as a tour guide in Montenegro, where she took her first photos. In 2004, she exhibited for the first time at a group exhibition of the photo club “Paraćin”, became a member of the club, and joined the Photographic Association of Serbia. In 2011, she received the title Candidate for Master of Photography FSS. In 2012, she acquired the international title AFIAP. In 2015, she acquired the international title EFIAP. In 2020, she was awarded the title Master of Photography FSS and became the first woman in Serbia to receive this title. She has participated in more than 200 international group exhibitions and has won over 100 prizes. She has had four different solo exhibitions: “Saved from Oblivion” (Banatski Brestovac – 2013, Paraćin – 2014, Sremska Mitrovica – 2014, Arandjelovac – 2015, Čačak – 2018) “All Those Children” (Paraćin – 2018) “Village Colors” (FIAP Gallery, Novi Sad – 2019) “Life Is a Masquerade” (Paraćin – 2020) She also participated in the exhibition “Archive of Photographic Association of Serbia – Marinček, Dingarac, Stošić” (Kovin – 2020). She appeared on the list of the 10 most successful photographers of the Photographic Association of Serbia four times: in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2018.
