Collective’s Mission Statement
Street Déclic is a collective of 13 photographers from Nice and the French Riviera, united by a shared passion for street photography. We explore the public space of our region, mainly the city of Nice, trying to capture spontaneous moments in the streets. We look for storytelling in everyday life, for visual effects of light and shadow, for reflections and colours in the streets.
Each of us works individually, but the collective is essential as it offers critique, support, and artistic growth. Together, we exchange ideas, exhibit, and challenge each other to see differently.
We believe street photography is not about staging. Our photos are spontaneous and unposed. Street photography is about paying attention to the world as it is. We try to capture the little everyday stories, special moments that happen around us.
Street photography is how we move through the world, and how we make sense of it as individuals and a collective.

Photographer’s Artist Statement
I am a street photographer by conviction. Since 2016, I have been walking the same stretch of coastline, the Promenade des Anglais in Nice on the French Riviera. I approach this environment with a sense of curiosity. The Promenade is not only a scenic backdrop, it is a living stage where people perform, pause, reflect, relax, interact.
My photographic work is not about documentation. It is about atmosphere and emotion. I try to find the invisible threads that connect us, and that connect people to the Mediterranean Sea. What began as a spontaneous act of looking became a long-term visual dialogue. I never tire of this place. The sea, the sky, the people are never the same. Each image I take is a fragment of this unfolding choreography.
The series Promenade Moments emerged from this process, but it is only one facet. Over the years, I have experimented with different cameras, formats, and moods. What unites all these works is the act of attentive seeing. I am not looking for the spectacular. I am looking for the ordinary everyday life.
Photography, for me, is a form of presence. It is how I anchor myself in the world, how I transform the ephemeral into something lasting. This work is also shaped and nourished by my involvement in photography collectives. The exchange with fellow photographers is essential to me, for motivation, feedback, and artistic growth.
The Promenade has become both subject and mirror: it reflects not only the diversity of life around me, but also my own evolution as an artist.
