A part of Vietnamese culture that is disappearing is females regularly wearing long dresses called Ao Dai. The all white dress is worn by students as a school outfit. The Ao Dai is also used during special events. Years past, it was very common to see women wear the Ao Dai riding their bicycles thru out Saigon or now named Ho Chi Minh City. Even though western clothes are becoming rapidly more fashionable in Vietnam, the traditional dress still has a place in Vietnamese society.
