Morocco is famous from many aspects but, one of their key selling products is argan nuts. Argan nuts are the base for the production of oil, balsams and soaps.

Local men mainly work at their own workshops where they produce different types of skin used later for clothing. Winter nights can be cold in Essaouira. Before the skins are ready to be sold or used, they need to be stored in a cool, dark and dry place.

These photographs below were taken in a small local market outside of Essaouira. It was Ramadan which means no food, no water from sunrise to sunset. The temperature was 45°C and the people in this market worked just as hard selling their fresh vegetables.
