The world on my head – Portrait of a washerman
This documentary photography was submitted to Edge of Humanity Magazine by photographers Nilosree Biswas and Irfan Nabi, co-producers of these images.
The Dhobi Ghat is located in Mumbai, India. It is Asia’s largest open air laundromat with 700 washers also known as Dhobis. The location also serves as home for these men during the off work hours.
