From project “Ida Cubana” by Sasha Alexander.

‘Ida Cubana’ presents documentary photography about Cuban life and how communism is still alive here on the largest Caribbean island. Sasha Alexander through his graphic photography tells the story of local people he met during a recent research trip to the fascinating country that is Cuba. The main objective was to understand exactly how people can live on as little as £20 per month; to see and capture the communist propaganda, and to experience something that is very distant untouchable and unchangeable.
