“Hestelle and Alexander Harper have  been married for over 50 years . In 2005 Alexander  was diagnosed with cancer and in  2006 he had a stroke. From then on the change in his behaviour and memory problems led to a diagnosis of Vascular Dementia . Hestelle became his full-time carer . This story shows the  wife’s love and dedication to care for her husband and  her life after he passed away in 2013. ”
