Punta Jandia, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands
During my previous trip , I see the desert and can I breathe . A surprise awaits me after 20 km of track , south of Fuerteventura. A village of caravans, between the desert and the sea, attached to a fishing hamlet . The wind is everywhere. The ocean is a few meters away . These rusty shelters glued to each other are eye-popping . The more I approach, the more details I see. A very special care is brought to them. They are not abandoned. They are loved , settled, cobbled and chouaillées . They are waiting for the next appointment . They seem destined to celebrate. I imagine the life that must have been when people gathered around. Fuerteventura, Punta Jandía – 2014.
