Bullfighters from the Village is the result of a photography series that developed during the summer of 2011 around the subject of bullfighting in the Andalusian city of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

The images of this work show not famous bullfighters performing the rite of bullfighting and all cultural practices associated with this, both inside and around the bull ring itself. Though very common in Spain during the twentieth century, a more progressive disinterest has made bullfighters and their performances disappear at a rapid rate.
