Mumbai India – a city of over 20 million people, 98,566 taxis and 246,458 auto rickshaws. I found myself fascinated by Mumbai Taxis and their drivers, the profession and the people.
Traveling the city’s endless roads hopping from one taxi to the next, I photographed portraits of the drivers.
The scenes were created within moments with natural light and swiftly choreographed directions to the driver and locals in the background.
This collection of portraits allowed me to intimately connect and isolate a singular moment in time with the drivers, people and landscape of a city that otherwise moves without pause.
