The day of the Holy Cross. While Good Friday is dedicated to the Passion of Christ and the Crucifixion, these days celebrate the cross itself, as the instrument of salvation.

The procession of Silence in San Luis Potosi is an annual event to mourn the Passion of Christ. During the event there are sounds of drums and bugles, but no participant or spectator speaks, giving the event its name.
