Soviet citizens spent most of their lives working for their country at factories and enterprises. To ennoble their place of work they brought in different personal effects, which was a cultural trend of the Soviet era. Modernization of the working process left less place for personal touch. And the present day workers spend more time outside the factory. But in the work places of the older generation you can still come across items of the yesteryear – posters, pictures and old transistor radios.
