A Pew Research Center survey released yesterday, which covers 37 nations, states that a median of only 22% of people from those countries surveyed have confidence in President Trump to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs. The report also states that today, just 49% are favorably inclined towards America.
These results which take place only a short time into the Trump presidency are concerning. First impressions are important and can be difficult to reverse. From the early days of President Trump’s campaign, it was obvious that his narcissism as well as crudeness were not the traits of a leader. The president of the United States represents all the American people and hopefully over time the job will teach the man to be humble.
