Because technology and outsourcing is advancing so quickly, the worker is getting left behind in the dust. Companies can aggressively use the fact that technology and outsourcing will replace jobs and leverage this fear to push the workers to give more. The CEO’s of public companies whose God is the company’s stock price, is looking to cut, cut, cut, costs and grow. Many public companies will continue to only look at their employees as a number.
