According to the law of Karma, suffering or happiness results from the actions, virtuous or not, that have been accumulated in our previous lives. India is a growing country, getting westernized, I wanted to explore India’s mysticism through the illustration of a real, sometimes unfair, but temporary present.
Many Indians indeed live in expectation of a reincarnation to complete the journey of their soul, purify it to achieve enlightenment, synonymous with another better life.
With this work I asked myself about the human condition in India, Hinduism, its beliefs, its devotions, its iconography and its caste system.
