I Baffi del Mestiere roughly translates to “The Worker’s Mustache”

While living in Rome in 2013, I started noticing an outbreak of facial hair under a staggering amount of people’s noses. Beards and mustache were coming back into trend!

Curious about the phenomenon (and moved by envy too, since my goatee is the only serious beard my face allows me to grow) I started a visual exploration of different beard styles, wanting to get all nosy about the lives of people with such beautifully groomed faces.
