When the artificial is considered to be normal, the natural seems to be exotic and sometimes magical. It depends on who is looking. For a city child, the forest could be a place of miracles and its visit there an opportunity to become a mysterious fairy tale hero. When I was a child I felt so. Maybe I still feel the same.
