Meditation Technique #3

I love to sometimes perform meditation using a chanting CD by Deva Premal.  I use the first track on the disk for my meditation, but the rest of the CD is also excellent to listen to for relaxation.  The name is called Mantras for Precarious Times.

I press the repeat button so that the first track which is called Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha (Removing of Obstacles) plays over and over.

I then proceed to sit in the half lotus position, or legs crossed, back straight, on a cushion, and eyes closed. I chant in unison with the CD and move into a deep meditative trance. I totally immerse myself into the chanting and before I realize it, a half hour has gone by with me in meditation. I eventually end the meditation, opening my eyes and stand up from the cushion feeling totally refreshed.
