God does not want me yet is a photo series about an almost 100 year old woman. She lives in Germany on her own in her fascinating house, which for me, looks like a museum.

Usually she doesn’t leave her home anymore. Most of her friends have already passed away, so visitors are few.

The elderly woman let me have insight into her life and a very intimate photo series about her daily routine and her perfectly fitting environment evolved.
Her peaceful satisfaction prevails although her life is becoming more laborious.
She is a religious person and says with a wink: ”God isn’t calling for me yet.”

The series is a photographic glimpse through the keyhole, a portrait without showing her face.
She doesn’t want to be identified but she stands for her generation and shows us both impressing and exemplary respect towards herself and her life.
