There are still many coal mines in south of the Poland (Silesia region), which is an important part of the economy. Polish power plants still base their electricity production on coal. From year to year they have to dig deeper and deeper. The work is very hard but the miners are opened and always in a good mood. They are hardworking, traditional and mentally strong people.
