Bahia

Walking along the Praia

 I met a lady

With

Long black hair streaked with gray

She whispered:

“Make love to me

 only

 this one time

and

I promise

 Macumba

will make sure you always remember tonight.”

 Now

 Alone

My Dreams

Always the same

Sitting on a milk crate

 Using a hacksaw

Trying to cut chains from my legs

Back-and-Forth

Back-and-Forth

Back-and-Forth

No Escape
