Pandemic.
Several years ago I created this project in order to bring attention to the poor air quality here in Poland, envisioning a person trying to go about their day without being compromised by the unhealthy air and use a little absurdity to visualize it. In the back of my mind I was also thinking about a possible time in the not so near future when this might be a grim life changing reality for different and possibly viral reasons. The not so near future has arrived a little sooner than I had thought, and so here we are.
In response to the Covid 19 pandemic, Poland has issued further restrictions, reasonably requiring that everyone must wear a mask when leaving the house. Today, this little air project from several years ago seems even more relevant today.
I am sure that wherever you are similar types of responses may be happening and I wish for you health, safety and patience in these trying times.”
