Over thirty years, me and the Missus living in seventy year old tiny shack. Roof sometimes leaks and I patch with tar. Never replaced as long as we lived here. Northwest corner concrete structure has cracks and sinking into the sand. Heavy summer rains come in and nothing a couple of towels will not suck up.
Oh but the garden, Yes, the tropical garden completely engulfs the shack.
What more do we need?
