This is a very unusual book in that I have never seen another like it with the Superb photography covering so many countries during the monsoon season. All of Steve McCurry’s photographs are rich in color, mostly up close , and brilliantly displaying everyday life during a monsoon. A lot of the images must have been difficult to capture  because it was so wet. The book includes a detailed introduction,  the meteorology of the monsoon, map, notes on photographs, and the photographs. Countries covered: West Africa, Equatorial Africa, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Philippines, and Australia. Monsoon is a collectors book and a great edition to your library.
