After Covid-19, poverty is the largest threat to the stability of humanity. Yes, climate change also needs to be urgently addressed, but homelessness is a more immediate problem. The disparity between the wealthy and poor is growing at an astronomical rate. Even if a person or family is not homeless, they may still be a paycheck away from wandering the streets with no place to go. For example, America should greatly cut military and overseas spending before poverty spins out of control and we end up like a 3rd or 4th world country.
