Written by Annika Holland-Tierney
Face to meet the faces
draped from well-spaced tufts
below the surface means
“pattern of behavior”
Subtle effects
clutter also
many others
trailing across the cloth
Sand stretches
it is natural silver,
an extravagant table
The Faces are staring,
feeding,
upon a marked resemblance
to a perfectly set
island coast
