In the series “Closed Life” I focus on the issue of isolation in times of Covid-19 and the related quarantine. Earlier I travelled a lot in the mountains mainly Himalayan region. But within four walls life is closed after this pandemic. Atmosphere of insecurity and loneliness surrounded each of us. I concentrate on images of my old mountain trials of ten even fifteen years back during this time and it seemed to all images of many ages ago. Now we are all static within four walls. Even today I think, I won’t see the mountains again. The scale and impact of the COVID-19-phenomenon was not just territorial. It affects each individual, community, states, and continents.
