There, outside, offers me a much more captivating source of inspiration than the professor’s speech which becomes a distant buzz in my head …

Apparitions is an author’s series in which the artist reveals herself for the first time with intimate photographs and texts that she wrote while plunging back into her memories.

Color images interact with Polaroid negatives. She invites us into the dream of a woman in search of ideal love.

” I fell asleep every night with the certainty that my Prince Charming would come and get me, take me out of this monotonous life and take me with him far, far away.”

With love as the main theme, she tackles the subjects of emotional dependence, love failures, and the tears of the past that haunt the present.

Marjolaine Vuarnesson was born in 1979 and I live near Paris.

She started her artistic process very early with painting and sculpture.

Along with her job as consultant, she have always found the time to practice an artistic activity and to exhibit her work in various events in Paris and Europe.

It was in 2012 that she turned to photography. She became passionate about film photography after having inherited the cameras from her grandfather. The Polaroid gave her a lot of creative possibilities that she continues to explore.
