Tota is a town in the Colombian province of Sugamuxi, located near the Lago de Tota at a height of 2870 meters. I had the pleasure of meeting Carlos. His wife had recently passed away. A big loss that touched him deeply. Carlos wasn’t fortunate enough to have children and his family lives at least a 6 hours bus ride away. Even with his occasional drinking buddy, Carlos often feels alone.
