It is no coincidence that the kitchen is literally the heart of the house. This is where life is, the basis of the community. The work Gosposia shows the interaction of the cooks in a Polish youth prison. They are employees and mothers at the same time, operate in an almost family atmosphere and are a central focus in the boys’ lives.
