Τhe series Erased scenes (from an untouched landscape) consists of images inspired by painting. Specifically, it is a combination of manual and digital image editing, resulting in constructed and not photographed landscape collages. It’s an effort to approach the landscape in a theoretical archetype, where the focus is not on human presence and wherever evidence of human intervention is present, it works as a remnant . One of the main features of this work is the hand-operated process, the direct intervention in the photographs and their materiality.
