The following body of works are street documentary photographs about the avenues and sidewalks of San Diego within the lifestyles of gangs. Where homeless encampments stretch from one block to the next among nearby industrial environments and where the sidewalks scream of gunshots and gang related presence. These are photos that represent the other side of San Diego from the perspective of the neighborhood looking at the gang members posing as who they are. San Diego is not just beaches and fancy restaurants, in fact it is very deceiving and my photographs convey those stories and looks where the trolley line after a certain time could get you robbed.
