Eccedentesiast (Ex—Eden—Tee—See—Ast): A person who fakes a smile
My days came and went like a flickering light soon to die, giving
way to dark discontent, and avoiding chances at optimism as if I was
immune to experience the pleasure of being content with life again…
But I never was…
There’s a war in my heart as I pace in a labyrinth of dark skepticism
with my dying light, looking to pray for trust but no belief system can
assist my soul, so I accompany neuroticism on my way to find a new
light to escape this misfortune’s stroll…
Night becomes the day, the day becomes the night…
I can’t ask for another day when nothing feels right…
Same shit, new numbers on a meaningless calendar, as meaningless
as this shell and mask hiding the truth that I smile yet the cracks in my
heart will find me in the bottom of the dark under…
