To take your jewel is no
Herculean task.
I will just strike your Achilles heel
I will buy you clothes made of finest material,
jewelries rare to find,
shoes that make you compete with mountain Kilimanjaro
I will
read aloud crammed love poems of renowned poets to you,
buy your attention with my disturbance for attention,
hold you unnecessarily close and whisper to your ear
things that will make you mad for love
I will rain currency notes on you like a heavy downpour in the rainy season
On cold nights, I will call you and make you long for me.
Then, you will come to me with all willingness and passion
And I with arms wide embracing my fool,
will take my one night salary-
the jewel to be paid for with a bride price
is stolen by a loveway robber
And I leave you for another prey.
