Jerusalem, the holiest place for all Abraham’s children: Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

The sanctity and importance of Jerusalem beats in the heart of every son and daughter of Abraham when over the years the city is a symbol, but more than that, an aspiration for a better future and fulfillment.

For 3000 years Jerusalem has been the most important spiritual center. Here symbols of deep meaning were built, and here the saints of the Abrahamic religions gave their hearts and bodies for their faith. From here began holy wars that affected the whole world and from here the hope for world peace never stops beating.

You don’t have to be religious to feel the holiness of the place. It is enough to walk around the old city and meet the pilgrims who retrace the path of Jesus in VIA DOLOROSA or the Jews near the Western Wall who pray sometimes in pain, sometimes in joy but always with infinite love to the one and only God. There are the Muslims whose walk to the Dome of the Rock is always determined. The Dome of the Rock, the holy place for the entire Muslim world, the place Muhammad set out on his Night Journey.

For street and culture photographers, the streets of Jerusalem are endless. There is a fascinating combination of a variety of cultures, a lively street full of non-stop happenings, sometimes pleasant and exciting, sometimes dangerous due to the intensity of the conflict.
