Sunshine is peering over the Atlantic horizon.
It is an ocean of sorrow.
The earth is mourning for herself.
Majestic whales beached onto the shores of Monopoly’s city.
Nature is trying to peaceful co-exist with man.
Man is destroying what has been tenderly created.
Turning forests into cheap condos; killing the natural landscape.
The right lung-of–the-earth are now dumping grounds
for cruise ships.
Plastic choking debris
Entwining sea life and coral reefs.
The left lung-of-the-earth burned to ashes.
Amazonian extinction is almost too much
of a painful reality.
For what?
Modern development.
I am wondering how Noah feels about modern man.
For he loving fit two by two onto that ark.
Imagining his thoughts: “ I did my very best to save
each and every animal species.”
Animals are meant to be safe and cherish by man
For animals were created upon this planet to save us.
Our earthly purpose is to be gatekeepers.
Instead of being a greedy, wasteful lot.
Legislating the natural precepts of our macrocosm away into oblivion.
As polar bears and seals drown.
Unable to live
No ice
No snow
No abundance of food.
Will nature’s wonderment of today,
be photographs of a bygone era?
How do we explain this travesty to our grandchildren?
