His scintillating darkness made him
a deliciously perfidious lover to his core
that brought me delight during
our early days together
when we were drunk with passion.
He seduced me with his caliginosity.
But his spell has long since been broken.
I am free from the diaphanous fantasy he crafted.
It has no more power over me.
He is as ordinary as a grain of sand on the beach,
he only sparkles in the sunlight,
and I am the sun.
I am radiant and I banish him
back to his darkness
from whence he crawled,
back to where he belongs.
