Written By The Hermit Poet
chunks of metal shrapnel
flying at me
unable to sleep
rise up from bed
walk outside
trembling
I sit down on wet ground
trying to reboot my brain
look up to the sky
watch lightening
hear thunder
heavy rain washes away my pain
