This is a series of images from the Brazilian state of Salvador de Bahia.  Bahia is noted for its diversity of cultures owing to the mixture of indigenous peoples and slaves taken from Africa to work in its mines and fields.

My work largely centers on the poetry and beauty of everyday life.  I hope to bring to the viewer a sense of love, compassion, and joy from the images I have created.
