 Artist Statement 

Even though I studied zoology, it wasn’t until a few years later that I came to my passion for animals through photography. At first, I took photos just to document what I saw and encountered on my trips. However, this soon became insufficient, and I wanted to not only capture reality, but also try to get something from my inner self and my feelings into my photographs.

Birds have always fascinated me the most in the animal kingdom because of their freedom, so I let my imagination run riot and capture the mysteries of their lives.

I am still fascinated by the fact that I can use my camera like a painter uses his brush to capture something that the human eye cannot even see.

So far, my photographs have been presented in several exhibitions (Czech Republic, USA, United Kingdom, France or Germany) or published in several books (Bird Photographer of the Year or WildArt Photographer of the Year).
