Broken lives spread like wildflowers,
innocent petals plucked before dawn. Garlands weighed heavily with endurance,
withered into trodden lawns. Bodies longing for peace and freedom, thorns scratching eyes of sight. Passage doomed, darkness falls, human lives in endless plight. Cursed by war, cursed by grief, roots running under strict command. Broken lives spread like wildflowers longing to bloom in promised lands. Waiting for the sun to save them,
clouds weep dust against the sand. Who shall pay for these sins? A tragedy at human hands.
Flowers of love, flowers of death, racing from their home’s onslaught. Seeking refuge seeking peace, a cloudless sky, sunlit faces taut. Flowers bloom and grow in the sun
shedding leaves of the past. New petals open, embracing warmth holding lost loved ones in their hearts. A gift of peace, a gift of love
spread seeds of humanity in buds of hope. New paths paved with peaceful petals,
a new beginning found at last. To capture someone’s trauma is only a glimpse of the stark reality Flowers are delicate. Flowers are strong.
