It is coming now
I don’t need to ring the bell
It is time
To put down the ball
And pick up the sword
No need to show the bruises
No need to retell the story
No need to denounce the pain
This action – it is warranted
This deed – it requires no words
No longer will I be occupied
By the fear of what will be
I whet the stone
I sharpen the blade
Not with malice
But with determination
This anger – it is false
This ill will – it is empty
This jealousy – it is fake
From the sky to the earth
From the land to the sea
This world is not governed
By one single living thing
With compassion
And with intent
I go beyond
