It took me a long time to answer the question why I do what I do.
As I grew as a photographer and more people became interested in my work, an artist statement seems to become more and more important, and it was putting pressure on me.
One day I woke up and I realized that focusing was a challenge that was chasing me all of my life, and photography was just about the only thing I can really focus on.
Ansel Adams once said: “a good picture is one that you cannot describe in words and nor is this necessary.”
That is the goal I keep in mind when I take my pictures, also for commercial work.
This makes me grow as a photographer and a person.
