In Havana students, policemen, nurses, cooks, ministry and state employees are among the people who wear uniforms.
Who you are and what you do is on display when the strict dress code is combined with personal style. The atmosphere in the streets of Havana is vibrant with sounds, colors and aromas.
Artist Statement I am an amateur photographer based in Italy, mainly focused on landscape, reportage and social investigation through photography. I try to get to know places and people in the area where I live and travel. I participate as a photographer and as an editor in the project "LudesanLife", an online magazine of photographic analysis focused on the territory of Lodi, Italy. I have made many trips to Cuba since 2001. I have always been fascinated by the people and the atmosphere; with this project I tried to portray the dignity and an aspect of the identity of these people.
