Written by Kenneth Hickey
But then Helen came
A woman of troy
Who sprang a war upon them all
A dervish dancer aflame with life
An alternate wife
Made me feel whole again, a man again
The road less travelled
To where it bent in the undergrowth
Forever beyond reach
Take me to the beach
We are life’s wandering children lost in the storm
Gathering under corrugated garden roofs
Peppered with rain, to be sane again
You reached me
Hadn’t felt that in a long time
Taken from a song
Cherry ice cream smile
