A place exists if it lives,
This is the first thought that comes to mind as a traveler and reportage photographer, in my many trips to Morocco, particularly among the Medinas of the ancient and wonderful cities of Marrakesh the red city, Fez with its tradition anchored in time of El-Bali and Essaouira also known as “Mogador” with its port hit by the Atlantic breeze, rich in culture and tradition today recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site for its splendor.
The Moroccan Medinas, mysterious and well preserved, labyrinths of endless alleys behind high ocher walls are the heart that beats every day of the most significant cities of authentic Morocco. People still live there today, animating these ancient neighborhoods by transmitting their knowledge from generation to generation.
With this photographic project of mine I wanted to immortalize the everyday life of these people from the mystical origins of the ancient Berber families of the desert and mountains, an essence of culture and tradition that continues over time, a merchant soul still alive in every profession from preparations of spices to the production of yarns and fabrics from leather processing to craftsmanship, all worked by hand.
All this represented with my photographs through real and spontaneous shots derived from the profound admiration and study of the culture of this splendid country that I carry in my heart and which in every trip wanted to give intense and unforgettable emotions.

Beautiful pictures!
I am honored to have a place to look at your works of art. Your black and white photography and “The End of The Word,” are my favorites. What you have accomplished and the list of your awards is magnificent. Needless to say you are a world class photographer who has won so many awards which from my untrained eye, an amateur at best, can see why you won. Thank you once again for sharing your incredible talent through the lens of your instrument. Much respect, Joni
Your work is stunningly beautiful. I feel like I can reach out in touch these people. Your black and white photography is amazing. I have always admired Edge Of Humanity for the splendid eye and ear of its Editor and Curator, Joelcy Kay. Thank you for sharing your magnificent work. Safe Travels. Joni
