Overcoming Deep Traumatic Soul Wounds Poem
Unexamined deep soul wounds are no ACE in the hole, if you’ll pardon the mental health pun.
A spark doesn’t have to be a trigger to a traumatic event . . .
Pain-based behavior reactively reveals itself in forms of the 4 F’s:
Fight, Flight, Freeze and Faint!
But it doesn’t have to be that way folks.
When I reflect back upon my own bodyguard of anger and anxiety based temper tantrums;
I can understand the pain based behavior of others.
Like the Boss sings, you can’t start a fire without a spark!
Our attachment to violence (aggression, guns, weapons of mass destruction) mirror the collective nightmare the shamans speak about . . .
Standing in our own personal authority is awakening a different form of respect when radiating from the key of inner peace.
Boredom and loneliness are emotions to sit with, and an opportunity for co-regulation with others.
May I humbly be a living embodiment for rising up to overcoming our obstacles in alignment with spiritual transcendence.
Poem From
A Novel Read into the New Shorelines of Climate Change
Written By
A Novel Read into the New Shorelines of Climate Change is an autobiographical narrative about overcoming trauma from the author’s own personal experiences. This book also aligns with universal themes that may inspire others who are facing their own life’s obstacles. For example, overcoming grief and loss, including surviving death by suicide, divorce, and other childhood traumas are deeply woven into the storytelling. Also, the universality of these themes confront the planetary plight of Climate Change; with particular sensitivity to humanity’s role in the death of an old world and the rebirth of a New Age and Paradigm. Finally, the intention of A Novel Read into the New Shorelines of Climate Change is to be a soulful breath of fresh air for the mind, body and spirit.
