This project is an invitation to a poetic walk through a pine forest and its surrounding landscape in southwest France. A sensory walk among the trees, swept by the wind, rustling above our heads and offering us their delicate perfume.
Inspired by Chinese painting and inks of the 10th-15th century, I try to evoke sensations.
The photographs of this series are the result of a work of alchemy: silver prints whose transformed material opens poetic paths and prompts the viewer to take that step aside for a journey towards a sensitive reverie.
Appreciating the poetry and the supernatural of the image that appears during chemical reactions, I guide the transformation through interventions: with my breath, a brush, a movement of water.
I explore the material; the work is built in an experimental way. Each print will be unique.

Fabienne Percheron was born and lives in south-west France. She is a self-taught photographer. Her photographic practice, which began with silver, then moved to digital, is now hybrid and experimental. She has been showing her work for 6 or 7 years and has taken part in several collective exhibitions in galleries and at the Off festival in Arles (2023 and 2024). She has a deep connection with nature, silence and the beauty of a landscape. In her photography, she seeks to retranscribe her feelings, to let us hear the breath of the wind, to feel the vibration of the earth, to invite us to contemplate.
